On the Road Again offers a road test service for experienced riders. For those of you who have been riding for years without the benefit of your M endorsement, this service is for you. This is a convenient way to finally get your license, without having to impose on friends to take time off from work to help you out.

Avoid the hassles of tickets, insurance headaches, and the threat of impound, and get your license with our assistance.


This service includes:
 
    • On the Road Again makes your road test appointment with the DMV

    • Use of our DOT-approved helmets

    • Use of our easy to ride 250cc Honda motorcycle (two models to choose from)

    • We provide a "chase vehicle" with a driver, for the DMV examiner

    • a warm-up session the morning of the road test, for you to familiarize yourself with the bike

    • an informational meeting the morning of the road test, to make sure you know what is expected of you.

    • when your appointment is made, you will receive an info sheet in the mail from On the Road Again, with the                details of time, place, requirements, and a map to find the practice area.


 Important points:
 
    • you must have a valid motorcycle learners permit in order to be scheduled
   
    • it takes four to five weeks to get an appointment
   
    • the road test will be given in Riverhead
   
    • it will be in the morning, usually a Friday, meeting at the practice area at 7:00 a.m.
   
     • DO NOT RIDE YOUR MOTORCYCLE TO THE ROAD TEST; IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO RIDE WITH A                     PERMIT ON THE  ROAD TEST COURSE, AND WILL CAUSE AN AUTOMATIC FAILURE.     
   
    • THIS SERVICE IS FOR EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY; THE WARM-UP IS NOT A LESSON. IF YOU CAN NOT          RIDE COMPETENTLY AT THE WARM-UP SESSION, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE ROAD          TEST, AND WILL FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT.
   
    • All riders MUST attend the warm-up session. If you miss it, you do not test, and will forfeit your deposit.
   
    • If you have not been on a motorcycle in a while, consider taking advantage of our One Lesson and Road Test          package for $235, to tune up your skills.

    • The price for the Road Test Only service is $175
